STAKE MOTHER DAUGHTER RETREAT

We had a wonderful opportunity this past weekend! What a fun time for mothers and daughters. The stake leaders really went all out to make sure that we had a great time together.

We drove up to a cabin at Duck Creek that belongs to a friend of Sister Bartlett. Wouldn't it be nice to have friends like that! =D

Upon arrival we checked out the beautiful cabin and surroundings and had some time to socialize.

For dinner we had two choices of yummy soup, Taco Soup or Chicken Noodle. Harriet Perkins was there making bread for us all afternoon, YUMMY!
After dinner we made a craft to help us remember our little chant/song.

I will read, the Book of Mormon every single day. I will pray, because I know the Lord will show the way. I will smile. *DING* Because I know it's worth my while. I will strive to be 100 percent. I will read, I will pray, I will smile. *DING*

After the craft we played a get to know you game with M & M's. We learned favorite foods, but the most fun was learning about embarassing moments.

After our game it was time to clean up and make our beds. Most of the 3rd & 4th warders stayed downstairs. We had more than 40 people sleeping down there! So fun!

After breakfast we had scripture study and a devotional by sister Bartlett.
After the devotional we made fun journals.

After our craft and lunch we had a talk from Sis. Johnson's daughter in law. She did a great job talking about dating.

Thanks Stake Leaders for a great time! Your hard work was appreciated!
