This year the stake planned a wonderful youth conference. The youth started out at the Orderville chapel where they had their first reinactment of the Book of Mormon. After that they had to hike from above Glendale to their destination. The kids all said it was a long hard hike and it felt like at least 5 miles. They had to use a liahona (compas) and find their way to the camp. Some groups got lost and some went straight there. Each day they reinacted different sections of the Book of Mormon and it made the scriptures come to life for those kids and adults that participated. There were 15 different tribes (4 of the tribal leaders were couples from our ward) and alot of stake leaders and ward leaders there to help make sure everything went as planned. I think it will be something that those who participated will never forget.
