Day 3 of Demo

This day the operator worked on seperating all the piles for recycling.  They finally called about 5 to say that they were going to knock down the steeple.  So I went over.   It was freezing.   I had on thermals, two pairs of gloves, two pair of socks and boots plus my coat and beanie and I was still freezing.  The wind was blowing out of the north but I really wanted to get some pictures and video the steeple falling so I endured the cold.  It took them over an hour to prepare the steeple for falling and it took less than 30 seconds for it to actually fall.

The operator made holes in the north and west sides of the base of the steeple to weaken it then he moved to the south east side of it and pushed it.
